Concrete Admixture
Concrete mix admixture
Modifies concrete mix behaviour for slab, precast and flooring work. Select the admixture for the mix design, placement method and required workability.
THE MATERIAL
What it does
Concrete admixtures are added during mixing to modify properties such as workability, water demand or setting behaviour. Different admixture types serve different purposes and are not interchangeable with mortar plasticisers.
Technical considerations
Self-compacting concrete requires a designed mix, not simply the addition of an admixture. Cement compatibility, dosage, mixing sequence and interactions with other additives should be confirmed through supplier guidance and trial mixes.
Product selection depends on the surface and site conditions. Ask our team for specifications and availability.
