APP Membrane
APP-modified bituminous waterproofing membrane
Creates a sheet waterproofing barrier using plastomer-modified bitumen for basements, terraces, roofs and retaining walls within a specified system.
THE MATERIAL
What it does
APP membranes use atactic polypropylene to modify the bituminous binder. They remain distinct from SBS membranes and generic self-adhesive sheets; reinforcement, finish and installation requirements vary by product.
Technical considerations
Use the selected system's preparation, lap and termination details. Where torch application is specified, trained installers and fire precautions are necessary. Confirm protection before backfilling and the appropriate surface finish for exposed or trafficked roofs and terraces.
Product selection depends on the surface and site conditions. Ask our team for specifications and availability.
