Joint Sealing
MS-polymer joint sealant
A modified-silane polymer sealant for compatible construction joints.
Overview
MS-polymer sealants use a modified-silane polymer binder and are considered for sealing suitable building joints. They are distinct from polyurethane and polysulphide sealants. Paintability, adhesion and exposure suitability depend on the formulation and substrate. Primer requirements should be confirmed for the actual installation; the chemistry does not imply primer-free application everywhere.
Typical applications
- Compatible facade joints
- Interior construction joints
- Connections between different building materials
