Overview
Bentonite waterstops are designed to swell when in contact with water, helping seal a confined concrete construction joint. Their performance depends on the selected formulation, confinement and installation detail. Premature wetting before concrete placement can be problematic. Joint cover, water conditions and the manufacturer’s fixing instructions must be established before use.
